- Working alongside a team of engineers, designers and project managers to deliver quality engineering and technical activities to achieve successful projects
- Develop experience and competency in Earthworks, Road and Stormwater design
- Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants, and contractors to facilitate effective project coordination.
- Complete design calculations and records within time and budget restraints
- Gain experience in site inspections and construction contracts
- Utilise industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and 12D to create and modify engineering plans in a digital format
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and other essential engineering documentation.
- Participate in site visits to observe and monitor construction activities, providing valuable insights for ongoing design projects.
- Carrying out site investigations, and feasibility studies for proposed projects
- Developing computational models to analyse and assess structural behaviour of new and existing structures
- The design of structures across numerous material types such as Concrete, Steel and Timber
- The production of calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solutions
- Contribution to structural design requirements from Concept through to Construction phases of project delivery
- Support specific projects by assisting with document co-ordination and report writing
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary design approach, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Including: Other Engineers, Clients, Architects and Contractors

Qualifications About you:- Civil Engineering degree or Structural Engineering degree – if you are studying a Civil engineering degree with a major in Structural engineering please indicate this.
- Passion for learning and problem-solving
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years of experience
