Software Developers at DotSys manage and support existing applications currently used by the biggest names in the insurance industry. You will be responsible for the complete project life cycle from designing applications, analysing requirements and functionality to maintaining performance. Our systems are developed to give customers the best possible online experience, from purchasing insurance right the way through to developing customer loyalty and engagement programmes. Software Developers (Ref: 0424SD) With the recent expansion of IT and the development of new web-based applications we are now recruiting for experienced Software Developers. You will be required to develop new web-based applications, upgrade and enhance existing applications using cutting-edge technology. You will maintain and debug current products by observing, testing, diagnosing and fixing faults in the software. Essential Criteria Min 2:2 Honours degree in a Computer Science or related field Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar programming role Experience with programming languages such as ASP.NET, VB.NET, C, C#, Java Understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL Working knowledge of the software development life cycle Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills Desirable Experience with WCF web services, Web API, Angular Experience of building Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions Experience with automated testing, unit testing Benefits Flexible working hours (37.5 hours per week) core hours are between 10am-4pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 10am 3pm 36 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays Continuous training and personal development Free car parking Hybrid model of office/remote working Private Health Care Life assurance death in service benefit Employees receive discount on their insurance policies purchased through the Company To apply for this position then please complete an online application form by clicking apply.
