Senior SAP Project Manager (Testing Service Delivery) - (CONTRACT)

Main Purpose:The Test Manager - PGT SSA will be responsible for the delivery for all test types and phases for the SSA deployment. This is a key leadership role that partners with the PMO, testing and non-testing vendor leads, technology teams, process value streams, PGT global teams, and IT Tech Services. In addition to successful test execution, the role is responsible for coordinating test readiness, test reporting, risk, and issue management, and deploying testing approaches and strategies. This role will be supported by vendor testing resources to ensure successful delivery.Test types include but are not limited to unit testing, integration testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, project regression testing, automation testing. This will also cover testing required by the project due to technical landscape initiatives including upgrades, code merges, migrations.The Test Manager - PGT SSA will also operationalize global strategies, processes as prescribed by global standards, and refine in partnership with PMO and PGT and Enterprise Solutions teamsThis role will be responsible for project testing and delivering a high quality of E2E testing assets into all testing phases, including full automation and handover to regression testing / sustain.Oversee SSA testing service deliveryVery strong project management working with on-shore/off shore testing teamsMulti-systems local integrations with other common solutions and legacies.Implementation of different SAP Modules as part of the Program.Coordination required within other programs Accountabilities:Refine and align testing strategy with SSA project, including operational RACI, entry / exit criteria, per global standardsManage all test preparation including building the team, tracking all test readiness and entry criteriaDrive test planning including resources, timelines, ways of working, capacity planning.Localize, with alignment test documentation standards, tools, templatesLocalize and execute all test and defect reporting - daily, weekly operating committee and leadershipManage re-use of global template assets and previous deployment assetsManage preparation of test cases, scenarios, data using Microfocus ALMManage requirements traceability to user stories, WRICEF, and business process hierarchyManage translation of requirements, including functional and non-functional into test requirements and acceptance criteriaManage the defect management processManage testing risks and issuesDevelop key test deliverables including strategy, plan, summary reportsManage the definition of ADO reports, queries, etc. using tools resourcesManage offshore automation teams to build and execute automation testing during projectSupport regression testing strategy for sector with Global Testing team leadIdentify and implement opportunities to make testing higher quality, more efficient, and more automatedCoordinate legacy teams, including external partners for all test cyclesEnsure quality of testing during unit test, integration, system integration, and user acceptance Key Skills/Experience Required:10 Years' experience in SAP Projects Management within a SAP Testing environment. Resource should have participated in at least 2 full life cycle implementations as the SAP test lead/project manager for entire large-scale project.Test lead/Project manager experience should span across implementation lifecycle including effort planning, test strategy, test preparation, execution, Reporting and closure of projects from QA perspectiveStrong understanding in SAP release management process to coordinate with release management and Development teamsResource should have hands on experience and a strong understanding of either SAP Logistics or Finance modules.Should have experience of working a complex landscape and integrations with non-SAP applications.Strong knowledge of and experience in management of different testing types of System, Integration, Performance, UAT and ORT, security, controls.Expertise in test tools for test management, such as ADO, and working knowledge of test automation tools such as Worksoft Certify and Microfocus UFT, Jamo for mobile testing Preferred but not mandatory:Certification in SAP Logistics or Finance modulesCertifications in testing tools or testing domainS/4 test management including Fiori Differentiating Competencies Required:Strong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively across project teamsAbility to plan and organize development work & deliverablesProactively manage risks and issues to resolutionAbility to work flexible hours based on varying business requirementsTravel requirements up to 100% depending on project needs Additional Comments:PGT program will be the top investment in SA and will be visible to the highest levels of the organization.An ERP implementation implies a significant change over the current business model and the day-to-day practices in the BU.
