Key responsibilities
Effectively supervise operations to achieve set objectives, by planning, coordinating and closely monitoring activities
Efficiently manage human resources by developing optimal schedules, ensuring staff training, and promptly addressing conflicts
Maintain strict standards of safety and compliance by implementing robust procedures, overseeing inspections, and collaborating with safety officers
Ensure effective coordination between departments through transparent communication, participation in interdepartmental meetings, and facilitating problem resolution
Identify and implement continuous improvements in production processes by analyzing data,
Qualifications required
Practical experience in production, ideally in food production industry. Proven experience in team supervision. Specialized training in operations management, production management, or related fields
Strong knowledge of industrial, food safety (HACCP / SQF), and health-safety standards
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage personnel, including conflict resolution and employee motivation
Excellent communication and information management skills. Bilingual because need to work with team members who have more difficulty in French.
Ability to handle stress and proactively adapt to changes. Proficiency in making strategic decisions and validating them with supervisors and the management. Open-mindedness and ability to collaborate with diverse individuals and departments
