We are currently in search of a skilled Legal Secretary to join our esteemed team, with expertise in litigation, conveyancing, and probate law. Position Overview: We seek an adept Legal Secretary to provide crucial administrative support to our legal team across various practice areas, including litigation, conveyancing, and probate law. This role offers an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic legal setting and contribute to the success of our diverse cases. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence for litigation, conveyancing, and probate matters. Maintain meticulous and confidential client files for cases spanning litigation, conveyancing, and probate, ensuring organization and accuracy. Manage attorney calendars, coordinate appointments, court dates, property transactions, and probate proceedings efficiently. Conduct thorough legal research and compile evidence to bolster case preparation across different legal domains. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, real estate agents, executors, and court personnel. Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries related to litigation, conveyancing, and probate matters, routing them appropriately. Undertake diverse administrative duties as necessary to support attorneys across multiple practice areas. Requirements: Prior experience as a legal secretary or assistant, preferably with exposure to litigation, conveyancing, and probate law. Proficiency in legal terminology and adeptness in document preparation for various legal contexts. Exceptional organizational abilities coupled with keen attention to detail, essential across different legal domains. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Capability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively across multiple practice areas.
