About the Role: As a Pensions Administrator in their award-winning Pensions Administration team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include adhering to best practice procedures, participating in annual projects, handling data processing, and ensuring compliance with customer and legislative requirements. You'll be part of a scheme-based approach, working closely with clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: First level checking of work and final checking of non-financial tasks. Informal training and mentoring of junior team members. Handling client queries, performing manual benefits calculations, and running automated systems calculations. Assisting with ad-hoc projects, exercises, and project-related work. Collaborating with internal departments/teams to provide a comprehensive service to clients. Requirements: Fundamental knowledge of pensions administration activities. Previous experience in Defined Benefit schemes. Knowledge of current pensions legislation and framework. IT proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. Education to A Level or Degree standard. Studying for or willingness to study for a relevant pension's qualification. Desired Qualities: Proactive management and mentoring of junior staff. Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach. Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
