The role in a nutshell

You are an experienced Life Cycle Assessment Specialist with at least four years' experience looking for the next step in your career. You love digging into the details of a product’s life cycle to support a Circular Economy. You can translate your findings and research into clear, understandable, plain language for internal and external audiences. You get excited to put your consulting and analysis skills towards our mission of enabling organisations to succeed sustainably. You are a team player that works quickly, independently and knows how to structure their own work to deliver on schedule. You are resilient and used to work in a fast paced and agile environment.   • Using your consulting and analysis skills to work towards ourmission of enabling organisations to succeed sustainably
  • Working across all sectors from building and construction, manufacturing, FMCGs to food products
  • Engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Preparing and presenting project results in an engaging and plain language style in PowerPoint or other formats
  • Identifying new project ideas and mapping out next steps with our clients
  • Supporting our sales team with the preparation of presentations and proposals

You will bring...

  • Advanced experience in conducting LCA and embodied carbon studies independently
  • Experience in using LCA software, including GaBi, SimaPro or OpenLCA
  • Experience in developing Environmental Product Declarations
  • Experience in writing ISO 14040/44 and EN 15804 compliant reports
  • Experience and interest in building and infrastructure modelling
  • Strong experience in working with Excel (or other data formats) to manipulate data and data structures
  • Demonstrated ability in managing projects of all sizes on time and budget and with happy clients and happy teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and agile environment
  • A natural curiosity to investigate issues, conduct research, design solutions and translate results into business practices
  • A strong quantitative or technical background with an excellent aptitude for analytical thinking

  • Demonstrate accountability, you think and act with autonomy, while knowing when to ask for help
  • Pay attention to detail and quality and have a strong can-do attitude
  • Identify critical tasks quickly and focus on these
  • Be able to simultaneously work on multiple assignments and to work both independently as well as on teams
  • Maintain a high level of quality in proposals and deliverables, and ensure quality assurance according to our QA processes
  • Have applied your LCA skills for over five years in an industry or consulting context
  • Bring excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have a relevant university degree in engineering, environmental scienceor a similar discipline
  • Have the legal right to work in Australia or New Zealand
