Are you ready to take the helm of our Seaview Service Team? We are on the hunt for a proactive and dynamic leader to fill the pivotal role of Service Manager in Seaview. If you're passionate about delivering top-notch service, fostering a culture of excellence, and making a real impact, we want to hear from you! We are New Zealand's leading Daimler commercial vehicle specialist, operating throughout the North Island. Reporting to the Dealer Manager, this position will lead and manage a team, manage daily workloads and provide excellent service to our customers. This is an opportunity for you to bring your own management style and lead the Service Team forward. Our ideal candidate would need to demonstrate the following:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the heavy truck industry.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of diesel systems and components.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Budget management experience, with a focus on optimizing resources.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends.
  • Build people capability through development, performance management and succession planning.
About you: You will be a natural leader with extensive experience in leading, developing, and motivating a team. Building relationships will be a strength for you, and you'll be motivated by doing the best for our clients and the team. You will be highly organised, with an ability to see the big picture, and streamline processes.
