Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Lifting Accessories, Vehicles, Cranes, Fork lifters, Inspection & training/certification of drivers, Cranes & Fork lifters operators as per laid down work procedures & prepare certificates for the Inspection jobs.
  • Updating and maintenance of Inspection records.
  • Submission of data to concerned person for invoicing upon completion of job.
  • Installation of Metallic/Traceable Permanent tags on the Equipment.
  • Record keeping for the Inspected items and ensuring no equipment has overdue inspection.
  • Co-ordinate and be present to supervise all lifting activities in accordance with the lifting plan.
  • Develop /Review Risk Assessment of all the W@H and lifting Activities.
  • Training of the Crane Operators, Lifter Operators, Riggers and all personals associated with the Lifting operation(s).
  • Develop all Lifting Plans and Rigging Plans for the W@H/Crane/Lifting Activities.
  • Monitor and supervise all lifting operations at site
  • Perform Daily Audits of the Health/Integrity of the Lifting Equipment and update at day end in a daily report.
  • Brief all crane operators, riggers and signalmen on the safe lifting procedures in place/prior to start of activity.
  • Ensure that safe lifting procedures are in order for any lifting operation.
  • If unsafe conditions are reported, to take suitable measures to rectify the conditions so that the lifting operation can be conducted safely.

As our ideal candidate, you should have:

  • Metallurgical/Mechanical Engineering
  • At least certified in LEEA – LEG
  • Experience working in MS Office (Word, Excel), AutoCAD
