About the Role Providence Law Asia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to supervise our staff, create and update internal policies, implement firmwide practices and procedures, maintain administrative systems, and manage day-to-day operations including for the talent acquisition and talent management functions. Responsibilities Talent acquisition · Manage the recruitment process from managing job advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews, managing offers and onboarding new employees · Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of potential candidates by planning and executing recruitment activities, and managing ongoing relationships with potential candidates and stakeholders (interns, universities, internship placement firms) Talent Management · Oversee the development of people by assessing and anticipating the team’s needs and deploying Counsel as necessary · Improve general HR processes and policies for a better employee experience · Provide advice and support on HR matters involving employee disciplinary issues, grievances and counselling · Manage the exit of any employee ie. conducting exit interviews, facilitate the return of company property etc. Requirements · A degree in human resource management, business administration, and/or any other related field. · 4 – 8 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a local or international law firm · Proficiency in MS Office suite · Effective communication and problem-solving skills · Demonstrable project management and change management experience · Strong interpersonal and networking skills, ability to cultivate relationships across teams · Ability to function independently, effectively and professionally in a constantly changing environment Additional Information · Reporting to Managing Director · Key Stakeholders: Firm Directors The firm prides itself on providing a collegiate and respectful environment for all employees.
