Our client is a tier-1, global quantitative hedge fund which uses data-driven research frameworks and complex trading technologies to support their key investment strategies. As part of their continued expansion, they are searching for a Quantitative Developer with strong experience in Python programming that can contribute to their business's success. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in developing quantitative models and have a passion for financial markets. Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with traders and researchers to design and develop quantitative models and trading strategies
- Work closely with risk management and quant teams to implement new trading features and enhancements
- Demonstrate strong ownership and self-drive in executing tasks independently
- Backtesting trading algorithms to ensure strategy robustness.
- Integrate core platform with various financial vendor systems
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and potential opportunities
- Demonstrate strong ownership and self-drive in executing tasks independently
- Hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Finance.
- Have at least 6 years of experience in quantitative software development, ideally in a front-office or trading setting at the buy-side firms
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Advanced skills in one or several programming languages
- Knowledge of real-time systems, high performance computing will be considered a plus
- Any DevOps experience will be desired
- Familiarity with C++/ C# would be preferred
