Financial Analyst, Energy / Commodities Trading

I am looking to hire a Financial Analyst for my client, a globally recognized energy trading firm. Key responsibilities This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information, and driving accurate and timely management and financial reporting in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include preparation of monthly trading P/L and B/S schedules , monthly closing, preparation of financial statements quarterly and annually, and supporting cost and revenue analysis (including analysis of trends and KPIs). Requirements You should have a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 4-8 years of experience.

• The ideal candidate should have prior audit experience in a Big 4 audit firm, with accounting or finance experience in a trading environment.
• Open to Big 4 audit candidates with experience auditing financial services and commodity trading firms - the understanding of marked-to-market concept is crucial to be considered for this role.
