Who We Are Looking For Boundary is a young and fast growing brewery based in Belfast. We operate a brewery producing 2200HL per year, an on site Taproom and a City Centre Pub. We currently hire 23 staff and have a turnover of £2m. Were looking to expand production in 2024, and add more venues beyond that. We are looking for a finance professional to help us streamline and improve our financial operations and reporting, and support the team to improve financial performance. We expect the successful applicant to be working towards a more senior finance role in the future, and we will support you in achieving your professional aims. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate part-qualified or newly qualified finance professional, who shares our mission of awakening hope and opportunity in people, using world class beer as the catalyst. With this position, you will join our management team, and help shape and execute our exciting plans for our future. Salary: Circa £35k PA. Actual salary entirely dependent on experience. About Boundary. We are a Cooperative Brewery in Belfast owned and run by our members. Opening our doors in 2014, we were the first brewery in NI to bring together modern US styles with the more traditional Belgian/French style beers. Boundary is a young and growing brewery in a young and growing beer scene. Having opened our first two venues in 2022, we are now beginning to expand again, deepening and furthering our routes to markets, with aspirations to open additional venues as well. As a Cooperative, you will become an employee member. That means that you will have meaningful ownership of the brewery that you work for. Responsibilities Owning the P&L for production and retail units Providing commercial and analytical support to the whole business to hit targets Produce monthly P&Ls Managing & influencing costs Preparing yearly operations budgets Controlling and monitoring CAPEX expenditure Ad hoc projects Essential Skills & Experience The successful candidate will hold or be working towards full CIMA, ACCA / ACA qualification - candidates qualified by experience will also be considered Experience in producing and analysing management accounts using a recognised accounting software package Strong communicator, especially in regards to the implications of financial information - able to make the numbers talk Strong Excel skills A genuine passion for great beer and a desire to work within a small and growing company. Desirable Skills & Experience More than one year post qualified relevant experience Experience working in manufacturing and retail sectors Experience in using Xero and brewery management software Experience in producing full company accounts / financial statements Other Details Salary.
