Technical Engineer - Water Operations
Job details
Responsible for the day-today operations of the water system in the assigned branch. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for water systems and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Conduct regular inspections of water infrastructure of forms, checklists, and monitoring. System Design and Implementation Collaborate with IDD and CMD to design and review the water system plans tailored to the specific needs of the new projects. Oversee and monitor the installation and commissioning of water-related infrastructure, ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory requirements. Risk Management and Compliance Assess potential risks associated with water operations, including leaks, contamination, and supply disruptions, and develop mitigation plans to address these risk effectively. Ensure compliance with all safety requirements mandated by law. Sustainability Implement strategies to optimize water usage, such as installing water efficient fixtures and implementing recycling or rainwater harvesting systems. Monitor water consumption patterns and identify opportunities for conservation and efficiency improvements. Job Qualification
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably a licensed engineer
- One to three years of related work experience, preferably in facilities or property management, water service operations, or a related industry
- Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance programs, energy conservation practices, excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Leadership and good interpersonal skills. Able to perform under pressure. Team Player.
