Summary: A FICO Falcon Developer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining fraud detection and prevention strategies using the FICO Falcon platform to safeguard an organization's financial transactions and mitigate fraud risks. A FICO Falcon Developer is responsible for working with the FICO Falcon Fraud Detection and Prevention platform. Responsibilities:
  • Customization and Configuration : Developing and configuring the FICO Falcon platform to meet the specific fraud detection and prevention needs of the requirement.
  • Rule Development: Creating and fine-tuning fraud detection rules and strategies based on historical data, business rules, and industry best practices.
  • Model Development: Building and enhancing predictive models using machine learning and statistical techniques to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of fraudulent activities.
  • Integration : Integrating the FICO Falcon platform with various data sources, systems, and APIs to gather relevant data for fraud detection.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing transaction and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and potential fraud indicators.
  • Performance Optimization : Tuning and optimizing the performance of fraud detection models and rules to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
  • Testing and Validation: Testing and validating fraud detection rules, models, and strategies to ensure they effectively identify fraudulent activities while minimizing legitimate customer impact.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Setting up monitoring mechanisms to track the performance of fraud detection processes and receive alerts for suspicious activities.
  • Documentation : Creating and maintaining documentation for fraud detection rules, models, configurations, and processes.
  • Collaboration : Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business analysts, risk management teams, and IT teams, to align fraud detection strategies with business goals.
  • Training and Support : Providing training and support to other team members and stakeholders to ensure the proper use and understanding of the FICO Falcon platform.
  • Stay Updated: Staying current with industry trends, emerging fraud patterns, and advancements in fraud detection technology to continuously improve the effectiveness of fraud prevention strategies.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensuring that fraud detection processes and strategies comply with regulatory requirements and security standards, particularly when dealing with sensitive customer information
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science (software / application) or equivalent 
  • Team player with 5 years of professional experience involving technology-focused process improvements, transformations, and/or system implementations.
  • Strong communication skills with selling capabilities
  • Self-motivated and must be willing to try new things – fail fast and learn / experiment.
