Languages English or French. Education Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. Experience: Experience an asset. Work setting. Hospital (staff position).Responsibilities: May conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods. Act as consultants to other physicians. Diagnose and treat diseases and physiological or psychiatric disorders. Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Prescribe medication and treatment and refer patients for surgery. Credentials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. Specialty residency training. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Experience and specialization. Specialization in clinical medicine.
