Quality Assurance Engineer

What We're Looking For: QA Engineer: We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. Your Role: Control:Partner with development and BA teams to ensure overall quality control. Case Creation: Craft comprehensive USE CASES and TEST CASES as well as the full contingent of requirement project documentation during the life cycle of a project. testability:Review requirement specifications, identify gaps, determine testability and testing implications.Communicate/collaborate with developers & BA to provide updates on going QA support.Practices:Maintain solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies and terminology.Guidance:Provide expert knowledge of testing and establish testing procedures, standards, and processes.Develop a close understanding of existing automation frameworks and continue to ensure timely delivery, while meeting the defined standards on mandatory and critical projects and work towards improving these standards in an ongoing basis.Frameworks:Write testing automation scripts using testing frameworks (i.e. Cucumber)Packs:Review/create regression Test Packs and ensure tests are maintained in wiki with appropriate details.Testing: Manage and coordinate the testing effort for regular software releases, and build.Tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugsRequired QualificationsPipeline Test ExperienceTest ExperienceHands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (i.e. Cucumber)Expertise on test data managementSQL or other database experienceJSON experience5+ years of Software Testing/Development experience within a technical environment Extensive hands-on experience implementing test automation frameworksAble to demonstrate process improvements across both QA and development teamsExperience with performance and stress testing frameworkStrong written and oral communication skills Good understanding of data pipelinesStrong attention to detail and organization skillsExperience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.Nice-to-HaveMock server experienceJava or Python knowledge preferred IT Services and IT Consulting
