Engineering Project Manager

The Engineering Manager oversees all plant engineering, capital projects, equipment improvements, and Project Engineers while maintaining and upholding all safety and OHS guidelines. Responsibilities: • Oversee activities of, coach and mentor the Project Engineering team.• Manage capital projects, equipment improvements, and troubleshooting technical issues. • Provide direction for long-term planning for site assets. • Develop and manage overhead and capital budgets.• Work with the Reliability Manager to assist maintenance through capital projects and/or equipment upgrades. • Contribute to and lead initiatives for cost reduction, safety, employee engagement, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. • Collaborate with corporate project engineering departments and other site departments to ensure consistency in project execution and solutions.• Collaborate with equipment vendors, engineering consultants, and contractors to deliver projects and solutions.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in engineering. • P.Eng designation or working towards.• Experience managing engineering projects.
