PrecisionERP is seeking for Procurement Specialist for our MTL client (HYBRID).Opportunity to work in one of the largest dry bulk freight operations in the industryExposure to global supply chain and processesDynamic engagement with market players in the maritime industry and internal stakeholders across functions and commodity groupsReporting to the Chartering/Operations Managers, you will be responsible for:o Manage contract performance, vessel nominations, vetting requirements and timely upload of selected freight and cargo contracts into databaseo Support post-fixture activities for chartering and operations teams. Activities may include (but not limited to) laytime calculations, AP/AR reconciliation, freight billing, PDA processing, voyage instructions, agency appointments, PO# management, vendor setup and voyage scheduling.o Optimising commercial outcomes across seaborne supply chain in close collaboration with Business Units scheduling teamso Ensure timely and accurate commercial freight information is reflected in the internal systems and regular (daily/weekly/monthly) reports - in compliance with agreed procedures and protocols.o Conducting routine and ad-hoc reporting and analysis (P&L, Desk activity, market, emissions, delays, owner/broker analysis, meeting recaps etc).o Support Chartering/Operations Managers and the Desk Head in project management for the initiatives across all aspects of the Atlantic desk activities (regional and global freight markets, portfolio management, digital, decarbonisation, supply chain improvements, new business)o Collaborate with Vetting team for continuous improvement of crew welfare, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards across the fleetTo succeed in this role, you will have:Qualification in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management orBusiness/EconomicsTraining or experience in commercial aspects of shipping, commodity marketing/trading orlogistics (preferably dry bulk sector)Ability to build and maintain excellent collaborative relationships with key internalstakeholders and external suppliersClear communication and presentation abilities, including Power PointData analytics skills using Microsoft Excel, Power BI etcIndependent, driven, and curious to learn.
