Telecon's Connectivity division is looking to hire a National Sales Representative to join our team of dynamic sales professionals. The National Sales Rep will be responsible for expanding and maintaining a customer base while generating profitable returns for the organization. This role will focus on the creation and closing of new customer sales opportunities on a national scale while assisting in the retention and growth of existing clients. The mandate beyond growth is to always provide an exceptional customer experience to our new and existing customers.ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and assessing opportunities within the telecommunications industrySelling new and existing customers on new telecommunications products and services, including but not limited to, structured cabling, data networking, devices, and managed services Making product suggestions according to the wants and needs of customers Locating prospective customers, generating them into leads, and eventually converting them to customersMeeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotasUsing strong research skills and deep product or industry knowledge to answer any questions about the product Keeping contact lists and following up with current customers to continue building relationshipsWriting and submitting accurate ordersDesigning customized, cost-effective solutions for the clientLeveraging the CRM system to develop prospecting and sales strategy that ensures high activity and effective closing ratiosSubmitting pricing and pre-qualification requests reflecting the client's requirementsLiaising with internal team including estimators and operations management Building, maintaining, and leveraging relationships with manufacturers and suppliers Specifically target and account manage customers with a national footprint QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, marketing or finance, or related field3+ years of industry experience Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersKnowledge of physical security technologies and best practicesExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including DynamicsStrong work ethic and willingness to take initiativeCurrent knowledge of industry regulations and trendsExcellent sales acumen and customer service skillsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and administrative skillsExceptional leadership and team development skillsAbility to attend all sales training conferences off-siteDemonstrated product knowledge and sales abilitiesStrong public speaking skills to present product or services to customers Communication skills to confidently make cold calls or negotiate sales terms Ability to meet deadlines and sales quotas IS THIS YOU?
