Unswayed, we steadfastly pursued our mission of becoming a permanent fixture in South Africa's art scene, nurturing artists and connecting with collectors. Women led, Artyli Gallery has a focus on mid-career to established contemporary African artists, our gallery proudly showcases original artworks spanning painting, drawing, mixed media, limited edition prints, and sculpture. Our mission transcends our walls, as we empower contemporary African artists to exhibit and sell their work through our gallery, art fairs, and the Artsy digital platform. Bridging continents, our online presence invites collectors from around the world to partake in acquiring these captivating creations. Situated in Nelson Mandela Square, Johannesburg, Artyli Gallery stands not just as a destination, but as an enduring testament to our commitment to nurturing artistic appreciation and fostering cross-cultural exchange.About the positionArtyli Gallery utilises multiple media platforms, and so as Digital Content Creator your responsibilities will be assisting with gallery engagement, optimizing the tools on social media platforms and developing original content. In addition, assist with the logistic coordination of artworks in the gallery.Duties and responsibilities:Graphic DesignAssist with graphics for platforms such as the website and various digital online platformsMaintain quality control on all digital platformsGraphic design and layout for social mediaGraphic design and layout for print mediaGraphic layout and design for sales and marketing campaignsVideoAn opportunity to develop and produce documentary videos. Digital platformsHave an understanding of Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, LinkedIn.Have an understanding of Google ads.Support at live and online events.Brand ManagementMaintain brand aesthetic and brand identity.Assist with track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.Develop new strategies for increasing engagement.Proficiency inPhotoshopIn DesignFilmora, Canva or similarAdministrative SupportUsing online platforms to support the team in administrative areas such as shipment of artwork, both domestically and internationally.Book and monitor shipment, both domestically and internationally.Additional InformationGraphic Design Qualification / Social Media Marketing or similar.Artyli Gallery is based in Sandton, Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg.Working hours are to be discussed.Three-month probation period, thereafter a permanent placement.Join a network of visual arts practitioners, businesses and organisations committed to the development of our sector.
