National Fundraiser, NGO, Cape Town

We are seeking a National Fundraiser for a permanent role based in Cape Town, Western Cape.  Our client is a national NGO, distributing food throughout SA, alleviating hunger whilst reducing the environmental impact of food loss and waste by recovering food from various farmers, retailers, and manufacturers to feed thousands of people in vulnerable communities.Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Degree or Diploma with proven fundraising capabilityExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsDriver's license and willing to travel5+ years' experience in fundraising and donor relationship managementExperience with presentation and public speakingAn equity candidate is ideally soughtCandidate MUST reside in Cape Town The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:Achieve fundraising target and conduct research to identify potential donorsSeek donation and reduce operational expensesComplete / compile grant applicationsAssist with development strategy and donor stewardship planAssist with promotions, events, and campaignsProvide story leads for marketing purposes Salary: Market related dependent on experiencePlease email detailed CV and supporting documentation through to bronwyn@sheldon.co.za with "National Fundraiser" in the subject lineIf you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful
