Supply Chain Management: Coordinating the entire supply chain process, from procurement of raw materials to delivery of finished products. 2. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, optimizing inventory turnover, and ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demands without excess. 3. Warehousing: Overseeing warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, while maintaining inventory accuracy. 4. Cost Management: Identifying opportunities to reduce transportation costs, minimize inventory holding costs, and improve overall logistics efficiency. 5. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them, such as implementing contingency plans for disruptions in transportation or supply. 6. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards related to transportation, customs, and trade. 7. Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service to optimize logistics processes and meet organizational goals.
