Senior Software Quality Analyst

The purpose of an SQA is to ensure that all work delivered by PlusNarrative is of the highest quality.This is achieved through the effective planning and execution of tests related activities, ensuring that anydevelopment is rigidly tested against detailed functional and non-functional requirements.You'll spend your time implementing manual and automated tests, conducting root cause analysis tomitigate recurring issues, forming a deeper understanding of customer requirements and enforcingcompatibility checklists.

Required Skills:

Passion for quality and an extremely high attention to detailSkilled in analysis and sharing of insights gained5+ years of QA engineering experience3+ years automation testing/frameworks experienceContinuous integration and deliveryE2E testing across mobile and web platformsAPI testingExperience using platforms/frameworks/tools such as POSTMAN, Selenium, Katalon, Nightwatch.JS, JMeter, TestNG/CucumberAbility to work in a fast-paced Agile environment

Advantageous Skills:

ISTQB Advanced Level - Test AnalystKnowledgeable in at least one programming or scripting languageFamiliarity with product development lifecyclesWorking knowledge of Clickup (Jira etc), Confluence and Bitbucket

Responsibilities:

Continuously optimise standards and processesDevelop and validate regular testing schedulesReview, analyse and identify test requirements based on the functional and design specifications and ensure a full understanding of all deliverablesPlan and prepare test cases and testing environmentsExecute test cases and report test resultsEnsure software stability via regression, unit and user-acceptance testing to identify bugs and ensure production operations run successfullyProactively raise questions and seek clarification for testingCreate documentation and maintain test plans/cases around new and existing requirements and technical specificationsHold and facilitate test case reviews with Testing, Development & Design teamsEnsure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirementsPerform regression and ad-hoc testing of system components potentially affected by system changesCommunicate with Project Leads to ensure all Quality Assurance projects are managed, tracked and delivered to customer expectations with high quality standards, within required timelines.Provide the team with analysis and other relevant reports regarding the quality of workIdentify any potential quality issues and escalate to Project Lead
