These jobs were popular with other job seekersRedheads Engineering is assisiting its client in the mining industry to find a suitable candidate for the Limpopo site. The Cost Controller plays a pivotal role in the projects business process and is responsible for the financial support functions and reporting for minor capital projectsDuties & Responsibilities• Updating cash flow forecasts for all the engineering disciplines utilizing input from the various project engineers and cash flow reporting for individual VIP capital projects.• Measuring, analysing and reporting on the financial status of projects to clients and project engineers in reports and in meetings.• Implementing improvements to the accuracy of forecasts and associated cost control measures.• Maintaining SAP and managing SAP workflow for projects.• Maintaining the Capital Register and monitoring and reporting against the capital plan.• SAP Super User for Projects - identifying and motivating improvements within the capital projects systems and processes, scoping of requirements, testing of changes, training of users.• Interaction with the project stakeholders during the project lifecycle• Managing month-end and year-end functions for projects.• Monitoring of compliance to procedures.• Setting up and calculating CPI, SPI and project contingencies• Adherence to SHEQ standards and proceduresDesired Experience & Qualification• B-degree in Finance or equivalent.• Computer literate (MS Office, SAP)• Working knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules is preferred.• Membership registration with CIMA or SAICA would be advantageous.• Five years cost controlling experience in a project environment.• Experience in mining environment and business evaluation background would be advantageous• Clear understanding of project planning and cost control systems.• Self-motivated, high level of integrity and ability to communicate with others at all levels.• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.• Capital investment analysis, project evaluation skills via a thorough analytical approach, with proven financial modelling skills.• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and cost control.• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practicesPackage & RemunerationMarket-related Paterson Grade C4Interested?If interested in this exciting role, please email your fully updated CV plus qualification certificates and ID copies to ernst@redheads.co.za These jobs were popular with other job seekersRedheads Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd
