Come and join the team of expert SEO Professionals in our Cape Town, South Africa office.What we want you to own in this role: Create well-researched, relevant content for publication online that will be read and shared among your target audience. Comfortable using CANVA, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Express, XD, Rush; Time management: It's important to plan your time wisely. You need this for the sake of deadlines, so that you don't miss out on any future exciting assignments or projects. Apply industry best practices and familiarity with the company's mission to help you come up with new content that will inspire, exhibit expertise, present authority and inspire trust. Communicate and cooperate with a team, including product managers to ensure each client's top-of-the funnel marketing messages are being delivered effectively. Create an editorial calendar and follow an internal briefing system for the content production team. Collaborate with other members of your department to ensure timely delivery, regardless if it is in video or written form Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement. Use search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies in natural writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results. Understand and use Surfer SEO and other SEO writing assistants. A little bit about you and your qualifications: A proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio. An impeccable English-speaker with knowledge of modern slang and expressions. Independent working ability to maximize creativity (and requires little supervision) Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously Strict adherence to the tone of voice guides of each company and their policies for publication A journalism degree will be an advantage. Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Familiarity with each client's requirements and the company's brand image, products, and services What's in it for you: Equipment you need to thrive in your role.
