Job details
Collects, prepares, analyzes,dissects, and evaluates specimens and/or tissuecultures.Assists in making chemical analysesof body fluids and tissues; performs venipuncture and obtains bloodspecimens.Weighs and anesthetizes laboratoryanimals for experiments and maintains records on such animalsrelative to feeding and physicalcondition.Operates laboratory equipment;contributes to laboratory maintenance.Performsa variety of assays, tests, and studies of a routinenature.Performs calculations to completeresearch test results; collates data; performs statistical analysisof lab results and maintain notes and log or computer database;performs basic procedures for computer assisted dataanalysis.Assists in small animalsurgery.Prepares stock chemical solutions,offer solutions, radioisotopesolutions.Performs photography and dark roomprocessing.Performs electron microscopy,x-ray, and electrochemical techniques.Performslibrary research.
