SOSi is currently seekinga Senior CI/HUMINT Special Advisor to assist in providing advisorysupport to J2X for all expert knowledge of CI/HUMINT activities,including CI and HUMINT activities in the command'sbattlespace in the USCENTCOM AOR. The Senior CI/HUMINT SpecialAdvisor will coordinate with the supported element J2X at theappropriate command level on all matters concerning CI/HUMINTactivities conducted within the Combined Joint Operations Area(CJOA) and maintain situational awareness of key OCT, CIST, andTFAN issues. Essential Job Duties • Function as a liaisonand military assistant enhancing the flow of information betweenselected Government officials and other commands' staffthroughout the theater of operations. • Interact withsenior Government leaders and ministry level officials whenrequired on significant CI/HUMINT information or issues and providebriefings when required. • When required, work withUSFOR-G and other applicable staff on National SecurityArchitecture, Strategic partnership initiatives, intelligencesharing, and any initiatives or issues that arise either throughguidance from the Commanding General or from other USFOR-Gleadership. • Coordinate with senior leadership and seniorintelligence officials to ensure CI/HUMINT activities support J2X,2X battlespace owner, or the MI Commander and supported Command.• Provide J2X leadership with detailed information andrecommendations on proposed and ongoing operations. •Ensure J2X leadership guidance, SOPs, and Policies are implementedthrough the Program Manager, Regional Managers, and HUMINTStrat-Debriefers, CIST/OCT/TFANs, as appropriate. •Provide guidance and mentorship on the proper flow of relevantCI/HUMINT information to supported USFOR-G staff, as required.• Maintain situational awareness of CI/HUMINT SOPs, J2policies of the USFOR-G Commanding General, and key intelligenceissues within the CJOA-G, including specified Foreign Governmententities. • Provide written recommendations that cover allCI/HUMINT functions and any other significant activity (SIGACT)information. • Provide advice to the US military onCI/HUMINT operations. • Provide advice to J2X assigned toCI Support Teams (CISTs), Target Focused Analysis &Distribution Teams (TFAN), Operations Control Teams (OCTs) andHUMINT Analysis Teams and pass/receive coordination/taskingsbetween J2X and contractor teams. • Conduct CISTbriefings, as required. • Review, as required, CIST files,and Reports Log. • Review schedules and the Activities Logto ensure deconflicted priorities are met. • Providewritten and oral reports IAW established SOPs, Policies, andRegulations. • Develop recording mechanisms for Tactics,Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and lessons learned in theconduct of operations; include all lessons learned (positive& negative), as well as best-practice TTPs, in anaccessible forum as directed and agreed upon by J2X. • Adhoc/anticipated deliverables include (but not limited to):memoranda; reports; RFIs and RFI responses; IIRs and assessmentswithin 24 hours of tasking and submitted to the CJ2X; briefingslides or notes when required; MFR, written recommendationsbriefings covering the 5Ws; written recommendations for SOP andpolicy changes; briefing slides; Weekly Activity Report and writtenrecommendation to resolve issues; Scheduling and Activities LogMinimum Requirements • Active in scope TS/SCI Cllearance.• Minimum twelve (12) years of related experience with atleast a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.• Master's degree in a related area from acollege or university accredited by an agency recognized by theU.S. Department of Education; OR • Bachelor'sdegree a related area from a college or university accredited by anagency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and anadditional 10 years of related senior experience, for a total of 23years, as a substitute to the Master's degree. •At least ten (10) years' analytic experience with formerMOS 35L, 35M, 351L/M, 97B, 97E, 35E, or civilian 1811/0132(equivalent to GG-14 level) formerly badged and credentialed CIAgent; OR • Other DoD/Joint service equivalent specialtycodes such as 18F = SF INTEL NCO or 180A SF WO with ASOT-III, orUSAF 7XOS1 - Special Investigator (SI) or 1N7X1 HumanIntelligence Specialist. • Experience supporting CI/HUMINToperations or acting in the capacity of / performing the mission ofa CI agent. • Possess expert level CI/HUMINT knowledge andabilities. • Possess proven experience at the tactical andoperational levels. • Have familiarity with Coalitionoperations and staff procedures. • Experience andfamiliarity with theater and division level CI/HUMINT operations.• Proven abilities in the planning and conduct ofscreening and CI/HUMINT collection operations. • Medicallyqualified to conduct mission directed travel throughout CJOA-G.• Proficient at briefing senior leadership at the O6 levelor above. • Able to interact with senior leadership.• Deployment experience. Preferred Qualifications• Previous experience with CJ2X and CIST/armed CI programs(formerly TFAN). Work Environment • Living and workingconditions while TDY or deployed could be remote and uncomfortable,with long hours, exposure to weather, adverse conditions, andrelocation on short notice.
