We currently offer the following position in our office in Wetzlar or Mannheim which will be hybrid. Business Transformation Project Leader in Operations (d/f/m) Come join a fantastic team! The Global Operations organization is undergoing s ignificant changes in the next years to adapt processes and systems (SAP 4 HANA implementation) to meet our future business needs in Operations. This require s a dedicated resource to drive the transformation and act as project leader with business insights. In this exciting global role you will report directly to the Vice President Global Operations and travel approximately 20% of your time. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute significantly to the sustainable development and standardization of processes and systems in the global production of optics and assembly of microscopes
- Act as a transformation and change management leader – you plan, convince, transform and optimize large-scale projects as site transfers or integration of future acquisitions
- As a central key role between the various departments, including Industrial Engineering and IT, you actively shape our IT system and data landscape in the production environment from requirements analysis to global rollout
- You i nitiate and implement projects, present project report s to management to drive KPI based decisions and ensure on time and on budget achievement of key project milestones
- Driv ing continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure Operational Excellence is also one of your key responsibilities
- University degree or diploma in Engineering or equivalent
- Extensive professional experience within Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Production Plannin g
- Proven project management and leadership skills in strategic Operations projects as process transfers or factory layout planning
- Experience in the implementation of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Passion for process improvements, c ertification in Lean Management or DBS desirable
- Fluent in German and English
