- A relationship focused position supporting Iwi and Māori aspirations and outcomes.
- Progressing Treaty Settlement commitments within Toitu Te Whenua – Land Information New Zealand
- Flexible work environment with the ability to work remotely.
- Experience working with Māori and Iwi,
- Cultural competence (as above),
- Ability to collaborate, form partnerships and coordinate with stakeholders,
- Monitoring and actioning programmes of work,
- Ability to create and follow processes with high attention to detail,
- Current drivers' licence to attend face to face visits.
- Learn our systems to track and monitor our treaty settlements (using Jira and Confluence).
- Learn the Treaty Settlement process,
- Pivot and work flexibly with changing (sometimes challenging) situations,
- Gain experience working with settlement agreements in conjunction with legislation and our legal team.
- Interesting work which impacts Aotearoa as we care for whenua, moana and arawai.
