If you are passionate about IT and excited about managing and improving IT operations under the guidance of experienced management, this is the role for you!What are the Perks:RRSP Matching!Comprehensive Benefits Package!Generous PTO!The Senior IT Support Technician will be Responsible For:Providing IT Support 1-3: Addressing technical issues for users both in person and remotely.Setting Up Workstations: Configuring and maintaining computers and user accounts for new employees.Ticket Management: Keeping IT tickets up to date and ensuring accuracy.System Updates: Performing necessary updates on Windows systems and Anti-Virus software.Backup Management: Monitoring and managing backup solutions.Documentation: Creating detailed user guides and documenting IT procedures.Troubleshooting: Handling in-depth troubleshooting of system, hardware, and network failures.Proactive IT Management: Analyzing and resolving IT issues to support day-to-day operations.The Required Qualifications for the Senior IT Support Technician are:Educational Background: AEC or Diploma in IT or related field; significant hands-on experience may substitute for formal education.Professional Experience: At least 4 years of IT support experience, capable at Level 1, 2, and 3; experience in a manufacturing or production environment highly preferred.Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and File Storage Systems; strong troubleshooting capabilities.Personal Competencies: Excellent organizational and communication skills, fluency in English required, French is an asset; independent with the ability to manage small projects.Project Management experience: Experience leading small IT projects is a nice to have.
