A national utility company is looking for a Senior HSE Advisor to oversee its operations within the commercial gas distribution division in Southwestern Ontario region. This role is best suited to someone in the Greater London Ontario region and involves travel across Southwestern Ontario.The Role: Drive company safety culture and act as the main point of contact for health and safety within Southwestern OntarioPerform hazard assessments, workplace inspections and observations and incident investigationsSupport operations in managing process safetyParticipate in the development of health and safety performance measuresLiaise and communicate effectively with TSSA, MOL, MTO and other regulatory bodiesCandidate Requirements: Post-secondary education in the area of Occupational Health and SafetyMinimum 3 years of experience within a health and safety role in the natural gas, utility, or hydro experience sectorAbility to travel (50%) to support operations across Southwestern Ontario using a company-provided vehicleIndependent and self-starterCOR and ISO 45001 experience is an asset Utilities,Natural Gas Distribution
