Position: Assistant Property ManagerLocation: Montreal, QCCompensation: $75k+ Tenure: Full-time, PermanentPosition Overview:Our client is a leading real estate management and services organization. With offices in thirteen countries, they are well-established with an extensive network of residences. They are looking to bring an experienced Assistant Property Manager onto their team. What you'll be doing:Managing property budgets, overseeing invoice review, and ensuring timely payments.Preparing monthly/quarterly owner reports, conducting financial statement analysis, and compiling variance reports.Monitoring lease-related payments such as progress billing on work orders and tenant allowances.Maintaining comprehensive records management via portals, various applications, and relevant drives.Collaborating with building operators and contractors per the Property Manager's instructions.Administering regular operating contracts, updating contract summaries, and issuing invitations to tender.Regular review of energy consumption trends in conjunction with operations staff.Providing initial input and collaborating with the national Strategic Resources Group on sustainability programs.Overseeing periodic reporting for building operations, including environmental checklists, major contract reviews, and cyber security assessments.Ad-hoc responsibilities as required Must Haves:5+ years of experience in a similar roleProficiency in both English and French, both verbal and written, is essentialRPA (Real Property Administrator), FMA (Facilities Management Administrator) designation, or relevant post-secondary education is an assetExceptional financial, analytical, and research abilities, proficient in reading and analyzing leases and contractsExperience working with YardiProficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Strong multitasking and decision-making skills Real Estate
