New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a part-time Database Administrator for our client.Responsibilities: Provide specialized knowledge on:Anonymization processesBaseline processesSpecific case anonymization processesDesign or execution questionsBlob extract processesCollaborate with other team members working on Anonymization and SubsettingClearly document and convey, both verbally and in writing, a variety of technical information to technical and non-technical persons listen, clarify and comprehend informationMaintain personal and team effectiveness by adapting and adjusting to changes and difficult situations, and implement an appropriate solution using judgement and resourcefulness in sometimes difficult circumstancesPerform work using the team's Kanban boardRequirements:6+ years of experience working with Relational Database management systems including DB2 and/or SQL Server5+ years of experience working in DB2 LUW (Linux, Unix, Windows)Specialized experience in implementing and managing DB2, SQL Server, and other databasesExperience in DBMS architectureExperience in data modeling and database design multi-tiered application architectures system architecture (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows) optimal methods of manipulating required data object oriented programming and script writingKnowledge of data replication techniques and processes, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., SaaS, IaaS or PaaS)Experience working in an Agile environmentExcellent communication skills (both spoken and written) to communicate with teams and business stakeholdersIBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server certifications are an assetIf you have this expertise and are able to work in Canada, please apply.
