Job Title: Application Support EngineerClient: FintechSalary: Circa $125,000 + Bonuses & PackageLocation: Montreal/HybridMy client are looking to expand their Application Support team, and would like someone with prior front office experience to provide technical support and engineering functions in support of their proprietary and third party trading systems.*Availability to work multiple schedules on a rotation (nights / early mornings) is required*Role (Full job spec available):Production support with a goal of minimising downtime, anticipating and avoiding issues before they occur and recovering from incidents if they do happen.Maximise the availability of trading systemsSupport the wide variety of teams within the firm that operate globallyProvide support to trading groups systems that operate across a multi-platform environmentIncident management - troubleshootingBuild out documentation for proceduresAutomate software configuration and work towards flawless change managementRequirements:Front office experience , supporting trading systemsPython/PowerShell/BashTech stack: Linux, Windows, SQLExcellent troubleshooting abilityFlexibility in schedule : on-call requirementA degree in computing or a related field would be ideal.A great personality!If you are interested in the role, please apply directly or email jhayne@hunterbond.com IT Services and IT Consulting,Financial Services,Software Development
