Vice President Finance

Our Client, a leader in heavy fabrication and engineering, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to join our team. The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to the group of organizations. This is a leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to drive financial performance.Responsibilities:-Manage team across multi-sites and multi-province/states, can perform controller responsibilities- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's financial health and stability- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to drive profitability- Lead the finance team in day-to-day operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions- Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute business plans that align with the organization's financial goals- Provide strategic guidance on investment decisions and capital allocation- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting obligations- Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and investors Experience:- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred- Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Vice President of Finance or similar position- Strong knowledge of financial services industry trends and best practices- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis- Experience in business development and driving revenue growth- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders If you are a dynamic leader with a strong background in finance and a passion for driving financial performance, we encourage you to apply for the position of Vice President of Finance. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $140,000.00 per year Benefits:-Dental care-Extended health care-Life insurance-On-site parking-RRSP matchSupplemental pay types:-Bonus paySchedule: Monday to FridayWork Location: In person Staffing and Recruiting
