We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch productions that captivate audiences and exceed client expectations. About the Role: A CCTV / Dispatcher plays an important role in keeping the spectators and staff of our live events safe. Working under the Risk Management Director they are responsible for ensuring all radio communications are monitored, recorded, and directed to the appropriate staff, entering incident information into the event report, and monitoring event CCTV.Responsibilities:Monitor event radio traffic across all active channelsDocument and enter accurate records of incidents, including timestamps, descriptions, and actions taken into the Event ReportEnsure radio transmissions were properly receivedMonitor live CCTV feeds to identify and assess potential security threats or incidents.Dispatch security personnel or emergency services to respond to incidents as necessary.Fully understand each events Emergency Action PlanWork with the Risk Management team and on-site contractors to support patron safety.Attend Safety and Security meetings to review areas of responsibilities, provide input into agenda items and support delivering key messagesPlay an active role during event Show Pause and StoppagesConduct event or site observations and record improvement opportunities with follow up actionsMonitor recorded improvement opportunities to ensure corrective actions are being implemented and complied with.Other Duties as assignedSkills & Experience:Proven experience working in a similar role in a related industry (911, Marine, Air Dispatch, Live Events, Security, Medical, Emergency Services, Military) is an asset.Minimum 6 months experience working with 2-way radiosProficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of CCTV operations, installation, and maintenance Understanding of security protocols and proceduresAbility to maintain tact composure during high-stress situationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changeHighly organized with attention to detailContribute to team morale with a positive attitude and the ability to receive and implement feedbackAbility to both take direction and show initiativeA commitment to maintaining confidentiality with a mature personal judgement and a high level of professionalism.Ability to work; days, evenings, and weekends including holidays. The hours of work are based on customers and business needsWork Environment:As the role will also work onsite during our events, there will be work on weekends and holidays with longer workdays typical of event hours.
