From groundbreaking university campuses to transformative culinary arts centers, our projects are making waves and leaving a lasting impact on society.As an Intermediate Interior Designer, you'll have the unique opportunity to dive headfirst into educational projects that push the boundaries of design. Collaborating closely with our principal, you'll be at the forefront of creating spaces that not only inspire learning but also make a tangible difference in people's lives.We're seeking a talented and ambitious interior designer who:Is passionate about working on educational projects and making a positive impact on society.Thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to work closely with our principal to bring visionary designs to life.Has a hunger for learning and growth, and is ready to take on increased responsibility.Is driven to push the boundaries of design and create spaces that inspire, engage, and transform.Requirements:Has 3+ years of experience, including experience working on institutional/educational projectsKnowledge of FF&E, furniture systems and specifications/tendering, colour and materials (in Education Design or Institutional work an asset)Demonstrated proficiency in designing and detailing through all project phases;Experience coordinating with project teamsFluency with Revit and BIM software, 3D Rendering, Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft OfficeStrong working knowledge of Ontario Building Code, and relevant planning and code regulationsARIDO licence, NCIDQ certification, LEED AP and WELL AP an assetClear and effective oral and written communication skillsFamiliarity with local suppliers in the GTAFlexibility and aptitude to handle multiple deadlines in a high energy work environmentWhy Join Us:Collaborate closely with our principal and take on increased responsibility as you grow in your career.Join a dynamic team where creativity, passion, and ambition are celebrated.Fun, friendly people, summer hours, beer Fridays, and lots of birthday cakes are some of the highlights of our open work culture.If you're ready to channel your ambition and creativity into creating spaces that make a difference, we want to hear from you!
