Join a community where your unique perspective propels innovation.Job DescriptionWe are currently growing our team and looking for a motivated Intermediate Product Engineer that shares a passion for engineering, technology, innovation, and process improvement. In this role, you will be working alongside the Deputy Project Manager Engineer (DPME) and Production Manager. You will interface with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers (hardware, software, mechanical, systems, component, quality, safety), Commercial Services, Export Compliance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, and Configuration Management)In this dynamic team environment, you will be supporting the development, production, and delivery of advanced electronic products that are for use in Next Generation armored vehicles for the US Army and US Marine Corps, including the AMPV, XM30 MICV, and Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle. You will be exposed to a product line that integrates ultra-high resolution displays, low latency video distribution, advanced computing, with customized embedded software and applications.The position is full-time on-site as it requires a high amount of collaboration and coordination, and frequent access to lab development facilities.The role responsiblities will include;Coordinating and chasing execution of tasks needed to procure, build, test, and deliver products to our customerLearning and working within the GDMS-C production and engineering development processes to expedite workBecoming proficient with engineering and manufacturing databases and tools to quickly obtain information needed for responsive decision making by the PM and DPMELearnng the product Bill-of-Materials and assisting the Production Manager and DPME with material management, including identifying cost savings opportunities.Assist engineers with product development activities and troubleshootingAssisting in the resolution of internal/external software and hardware problem reportsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or applicable scientific discipline is required.Understanding of Engineering principles and applying those techniques, tools and knowledge to the task at hand.Energetic, organized, friendly, and persistent with an ability to prioritize and deliver on commitments.Interested in learning, proposing new ideas and processes, and trying new things.Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.Excellent communication skillsMust be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment.
