Managing and administeringorganization databases which includes: availability, performanceoptimization, security, backup & restore andauditingResponsible for user security on DBand business applications levelsInstallationof server-side DB softwareTroubleshootingDatabase and Application serverissues.Prepares testing/ developmentenvironment for Application teamShall beresponsible and compliance with ABA IT Division's securitypolicies; protection of ABA IT Division's informationassets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification,destruction and/or interference thereby ensuring theconfidentiality, integrity and availability of information; and thereporting of security events, potential incidents and/or otherthreats.Manages business applications useraccounts in terms of creating, modifying anddisablingQuarterly validates user accounts andinformation and communicates tomanagementInteracting with application team todeploy new developments and handling versioncontrolInteracting with System team to verifyDatabase and applications backups are donesuccessfullyProvides application users withcustomized reports when requestedWorks inunpredictable IT situational environmentTakesaction for routine trouble shooting, however complex situationslike critical business service failures areescalatedback office support job which workswithin defined guidelines and policies set by the group andprimarily interfacing with ITteam.
