SAP Project Management and Governance Lead

We are seeking an experienced Project Management and Governance SME to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with project setup, project governance, and capacity to assist with Bid Management and response to proposals (sales). The ideal candidate should have Tier 1 consulting skills with project management and project governance expertise, as well as project assurance understanding and the ability to manage sales and bid management processes.Responsibilities include: Assist the Executive Partner with Chief of Staff responsibilities such as managing the Finance and Supply Chain Service Offering and SAP Practice key activities such as OPCO, Bids and Proposals and Project setupsAssist with project governance setup, including defining SOW for project scope, goals, and deliverablesRoll out project governance frameworks to ensure compliance with IBM standards and best practicesProvide project management support expertise to programme and project managementCoordinate and manage the sales and bid management process, including responding to proposals and developing bid documentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and stakeholder managementConduct project review activities, including risk management, quality management, and monitoring and controlling of project progressRoll out project management tools, templates, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organizationProvide training and mentoring to junior team members to develop their project management and governance skillsEnsure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as relevant industry regulations and standardsCollaborate with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners, to ensure effective communicationPerform other related duties as assigned by managementRequired Technical and Professional Expertise• Bachelor's degree in project management, or a related field• At least 10 years of experience in project management and governance, with a focus on IT or technology projects• Proven experience in supporting programme managers on large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and deliverables• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile• Familiarity with project governance frameworks• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills• Strong team management skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members• Proven experience in developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resources• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills• Familiarity with sales and bid management processes, including responding to proposals and developing bid documents• Experience with project management tools, such as MS Project• Certification in project management or project governance is desirablePreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseNone
