Bayshore Home Care Solutions in our Niagara Branch is looking for Registered Practicing Nurses (RPN), to join our amazing team. Our Nurses enjoy an environment that gives priority to their flexibility but at the same time fully utilizing their nursing skill sets. This role is not your afternoon tea with Grandma. If you are looking for a nursing environment that demands critical thinking on complex care and advance wound care to name a few, then this role may be for you.In this client specific RPN position, duties will include skilled clinical care and personal care,such as getting the client ready for school, accompanying to school and providing after school care.Shifts include 7a-5p Monday - SaturdayWe seek to hire 2-3 nurses to build a nursing team to support this client.Location - West side of WellandExperience with deafblind persons considered an asset.Experience with G tube feeds and maintenance.Problem solver with ability to develop strategies to work through behaviors and assist in establishing a therapeutic rapport with client.What you’ll be doing:As an RPN, make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of nursing care to our clients in their community. This includes but not limited to palliative, pediatric, wound care, intravenous therapy, and health teaching chronic disease prevention.As the primary care planner to your clients, you have the autonomy and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship and preceptorship programs.You will teach, delegate tasks and functions to different levels of workers and client family members while maintaining our industry’s highest level of practice.You are the nursing care expert for your community.
