About the Role It is our intent to employ a dynamic and flexible supervisor f to assist the team leader in the day to day supervision of the Visitor Experience operation. The appointment will be for a period of 9 months from May 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025. You will be responsible for: Visitor Operations:- Supervision of the operation daily
- Queue and floor management.
- Excels in customer service and is able to generate enthusiasm for delivering excellence in customer service.
- Consciously acts as an ambassador for Guinness.
- Supervision of their team daily. Liaises with the Team Leader/ Visitor Experience Manager to ensure the team is able to deliver first class standards and service every day.
- Able to delegate to their team effectively
- Assist with staff training as required
- Is able to make decision on own for best to business.
- Ensures all cash and stock transactions are carried out accurately.
- Ensures that the building presentation is to high standard, and take action where needed.
- Takes responsibility for their own area when on duty Liaise with the Team Leader and keeps them constantly informed on issues.
- Is imaginative in finding solutions to exceed our visitors’ expectations.
- Has pre-disposition to take action, and to motivate others to take action rather than being told what to do or waiting for things to happen.
- Uses initiative to excel in provision of customer service.
- Operates with energy and passion that is contagious
- Able to take the leading role and delegate tasks
- A strong team player. Prioritises time and workload
- Good attention to detail, in particular cash, quality presentation
- Uses effective judgement to assess situations and people to determine most appropriate and effective course of action
- Leaving Cert Minimum
- At least 6 months experience in acting as a supervisor within a busy customer facing environment within tourism, retail or hospitality
- High professional standards
- Self motivated and able to motivate others
- Has excellent operational experience in a customer facing environment
- Be enthusiastic and energetic in the delivery of excellent customer experiences
