About the Role It is our intent to employ a dynamic and flexible supervisor f to assist the team leader in the day to day supervision of the Visitor Experience operation. The appointment will be for a period of 9 months from May 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025. You will be responsible for: Visitor Operations:

• Supervision of the operation daily
• Queue and floor management. 
• Excels in customer service and is able to generate enthusiasm for delivering excellence in customer service. 
• Consciously acts as an ambassador for Guinness.

People Management

• Supervision of their team daily. Liaises with the Team Leader/ Visitor Experience Manager to ensure the team is able to deliver first class standards and service every day.
• Able to delegate to their team effectively
• Assist with staff training as required

Duty Management :

• Is able to make decision on own for best to business. 
• Ensures all cash and stock transactions are carried out accurately.
• Ensures that the building presentation is to high standard, and take action where needed. 
• Takes responsibility for their own area when on duty Liaise with the Team Leader and keeps them constantly informed on issues.

• Has pre-disposition to take action, and to motivate others to take action rather than being told what to do or waiting for things to happen.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Leaving Cert Minimum
• At least 6 months experience in acting as a supervisor within a busy customer facing environment within tourism, retail or hospitality
• High professional standards
• Self motivated and able to motivate others
• Has excellent operational experience in a customer facing environment
• Be enthusiastic and energetic in the delivery of excellent customer experiences
