We are actively searching for a transformational Director of Field Marketing to orchestrate our dynamic field marketing endeavors throughout the EMEA region for Tableau, the top tier analytics platform worldwide. As the driving force behind our regional marketing initiatives, you will collaborate extensively with marketing, sales, and product teams to craft innovative programs, initiatives, and events aimed at fostering pipeline creation and progression. In this pivotal role, you will use your outstanding leadership and collaboration abilities to effectively engage and align diverse stakeholders, ensuring unified efforts towards achieving business objectives, implementing impactful marketing strategies, and driving comprehensive plans with precision. Acting as a strategic business partner to our regional Tableau sales team, the Director of EMEA Field Marketing impacts pipeline generation and maturation through the creation and execution of a regional field marketing strategy in alignment with business priorities, growth targets, and in partnership with the broader Field Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales teams. Responsibilities :
  • Develop and implement a strategic field marketing plan for the EMEA region that supports sales objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead through impact and influence the EMEA Tableau field marketing team, encouraging a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with EMEA Tableau sales leaders to ensure alignment between sales and marketing strategies and to support the sales pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns, events, and programs that actively engage customers and prospects across the EMEA region.
  • Measure and analyze the efficiency of marketing initiatives, using insights to optimize future campaigns and achieve maximum return on investment.
  • Influence the EMEA field marketing, campaigns, and Media Lab budgets, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to high-impact activities.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies and tactics as vital.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration within the organization to ensure cohesive messaging and customer experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Champion the Salesforce brand in the EMEA region, ensuring consistency with global branding guidelines while tailoring approaches to meet local market needs.
Required Skills :
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within field marketing or a related area.
  • Proven record of developing and driving successful marketing strategies in the EMEA region.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading through impact and influence diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of the EMEA market dynamics, customer segments, and sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools, preferably Salesforce products.
  • Ability to travel as required for the role.
