Develop, initiate and contributein planning, execution, commissioning and handover ofinfrastructure projects to ensure that all Civil StructuralInfrastructure is in place to accommodate the anticipated growth ofthe lndustrial Cities and their Ports and associatedfacilities.Facilitate the development andexecution of civil/structural aspects of Endusers/Tenants/lnvestorsprojects (through the Building Permit process) in Ras Laffanlndustrial City, Ports and Support Services Areas during theexecution phases of these projects.YourTasksExecute on the behalf of thelndustrial Cities the end{o-end infrastructure projects frominitiation of the Project lnitiation Notes (PlN) to facilitatingProject Commissioning and Handover to the Asset Holder andO&M Department in order to ensure that those projects meetrequirements.Contribute in the preparation ofthe civil and structural conceptual design which is required forthe preparation of the Project Development Proposal(PDP).Proactively communicate and follow-upwith all relevant Stakeholders to identify and confirm projectrequirements derived from the Project Objectives stipulated in thePDP to prepare the Statement of Requirements (SOR) and associateddrawings and documents.Represent thedepartment on routine basis meetings with the Engineering,Contractors, Consultants, Vendors, operating companies andEnd-users to resolve technical, implementation, compliance andprogress issues and to provide troubleshooting during the projectexecution phase and control variations in accordance withprocedures; Contribute in coordinating the works and schedules ofvarious FEED, ECS and EPIC Contractors working and other End Users/lndustries to resolve interface and conflictissues.lnitiate and proactively follow-up onupdating and incorporating as-built drawings received and End-usersProjects in the overall City's consolidated drawing toensure all requirements are reflected in the Master Plan of theCity.Provide technical support to othersections, divisions and departments and share lessons learnt fromprevious projects in the related discipline on required basis;Maintain close co- ordination with the other Divisions / Section inthe Development Planning and Engineering Department as well asother lndustrial Cities Departments to remain abreast of theiractivities and to communicate issues so that the conceptdevelopments through project completion phase are suitablysynchronized.Review and approve theapplications for Permit to Work for all civil structural relatedactivities executed by contractors/ End-users / Tenants / lnvestorsfor common areas other than within End-User fenced areas to ensurethey adhere strictly to polices and regulations. Review and approveEnd-users/Tenants/lnvestors Building Permit and technicalsubmissions for off-plot developments, related to Civil/Structuralitems of work in line with lndustrial Cities' Master Planand applicable Guide Lines, Standards andRegulations.Contribute in identifying,developing and preparing conceptual studies for Civil andStructural items of work, for the necessary common infrastructureor synergy facilities in the lndustrialCities.Monitor and report on the developmentof existing End-users/Tenants/lnvestors. Attend progress review,construction coordination, interface, design review meetings, etcto resolve interface/technical/construction related issues anddevelop/recommend appropriatesolutions.Contributes to maintain and optimizethe lndustrial City Master Plan and Land Use Plan, activelycontribute in the review of existing procedures, regulations andguidelines related to the Development, Planning and Engineering andrecommend amendments. Contribute in the development and implementnew "Technical Guidelines" for use by End-usersand Projects.
