Job details
Ensures that the services ofsubcontractors and major construction equipment required by theproject will be available at the appropriate time to ensure maximumefficiency and productivity.Establishesassignments for Construction Superintendents for various work areasof construc tion operations, monitoring progress and recommendingcorrective action as necessary.Conductsperformance evaluations and recommends promotions and salaryactions.Manages the assignment of manpower,materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintainschedules, and to meet budget goals.Keepsalert to possible problem areas and takes preventative action toensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of theproject.Ensures the use of sound constructionpractices to attain required quality control at the maximumefficiency and minimum cost.Prepares periodicreports summarizing progress of construction activities forhigherlevel management and clients, including formalpresentations.Ensures effective implementationof all Company and client policies and procedures, including laborrelations policies.Serves as the primarycontact with client representatives, subcontractors, and governmentrepresentatives for co nstructionrelated activities. Maintainsstrong client and community relations.Performsother responsibilities associated with this position as may beappropriate.
