Job details
Provide primary care to patientsassigned in adherence with Aspetar's approved clinicalpractice guidelines. Perform a diagnosticevaluation, developing treatment plans, and insuring comprehensivefollow-up. Work as a core member of thepatient-care team to assess and interpret the patient'sstrengths and/or barriers towards recovery / optimal performance.Develop a care plan, in consultation withother sports science and rehabilitative professionals to assist thepatient in recovery / attainment of optimalperformance.Provide clinical support andleadership for Aspetar's sports medicine services andprofessional development.Work with the Chiefof Sports Medicine to formulate and establish the clinical carepathways for the sports medicine department.Work with the coordinator of clinical researchand the Chief of Sports Medicine to pioneer and manage thedevelopment of a comprehensive clinical research programme inevidence-based sports medicine.Act as aprimary reference to Aspetar's Medical Consultants in thecare of sports medicine-related cases.Providekey support to the Medical teams within Qatar Sports Clubs,Federations and Teams within the NSMP.Provideon-call consultative services (off-site or on-site as the situationdemands) as per hospital guidelines.Plan andsupport educational, research and professional development thatwill enhance the quality of sports medicine clinical and patientservices and professional standing of the Centre.
