We are looking for energetic, hard-working and dependable sales professionals to expand our sales force at our *Edmonton North, AB *showroom. The successful candidate will be established and experienced in retail sales, preferably commissioned sales, or even major home appliance sales! If sales isn't in your background, we are looking for individuals willing to learn, grow and take on the challenge of becoming a top earner!*What we offer:** $25.00 per hour base salary for your first 6 months to get you started; and after your first 6 months, $20.00 per hour base salary guarantee - This is above industry standards!* We offer the ability to make unlimited commission income!* Monthly Incentive Bonuses and Frequent Vendor Incentives, Contests and Awards* Company Paid Benefits Upon Hire: Extended Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, and Disability Insurance* Paid Training Period & Unlimited training opportunities* Career Growth Opportunities* Discounts and Perks available only to CAS employees* Discounted memberships for GoodLife and Énergie Cardio* Seasonal Company Social Events with a FUN team!*As a Sales Associate you will:** Sell major home appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, laundry by providing expert product knowledge to customers* Provide an exceptional customer experience in all aspects of the sales transaction and customer interactions* Closing sales procured through walk-ins, email, phone, chat systems, and existing relationship base* Engage and grow your customer base and create your own book of business for repeat clients* Provide substitutions, reselections, and upsell appliance packages* Enjoy a competitive sales environment and strive to meet and exceed sales targets* Be proficient at Point of Sale (POS) systems; taking all tenders not limited to cash, cards, and financing applications* Sell additional services and warranty protection on appliances* Maintain and follow up with records of all sales/inventory to ensure the right product is moving at the right time* Work with other departments within the Company to ensure efficiency in the sales process*What we are looking for...** Minimum 1 year experience (preferred) in a major appliance sales or related field; strong background in appliance sector or similar commission sales* Ability and willingness to learn appliance sales techniques, execute a sale, and improve everyday* Proven ability to engage customers and execute long/short term sales strategies to close a sale* Computer savvy and POS system knowledge - from search to sale is all done on the computer!* Ability to pursue sales - they don't just come to you, you must go after them!* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to critically think in a fast-paced environment* Minimum 3 years experience in customer service (preferred), ability to manage customer complaints with a positive outcome for the customer and the business*At Canadian Appliance Source we don't have jobs, we build careers and networks to last a lifetime.
