Job DescriptionThis role manages a sales team and distribution strategy and is accountable for the sales targets and profitability of the team, over periods of up to a year. Broker Distribution undertakes third party marketing (selling) and relationships building with Intermediary financial advisors. The purpose is to increase Old Mutual's market share by means of maximising business submission and retention to Old MutualThe incumbent will report to a Regional Manager to support with:Generating new business sales.Fulfill a developmental/mentorship role for a team of consultantsFormulating and implementing a branch distribution strategy.Effectively managing change.Managing Human Resource Capital.Co-managing the branches by practicing sound business principles in accordance with Old Mutual and Broker Distribution's business governances.Sourcing market intelligence and incorporate information into branch strategy.The successful candidate should substantially meet the following requirements:Matric and a relevant 3-year tertiary qualification and/or CFP First Level Regulatory Examination (RE5) will be advantageousAt least 5 years financial services industry experience - Investments & InsuranceAt least 5 years experience in marketing/salesRelevant management experience and/or a great track record as Business/Broker Consultant will be advantageousValid driver's license and own private transportSkillsEducationClosing Date22 April 2024The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question.
