JOB TITLE: Brand Marketing & Communications Manager DEPARTMENT: Sales, Marketing & Communication BRANCH: Stellantis South Africa REPORTS TO: Head of CommunicationsPURPOSE OF POSITION: The overall objective of the Brand Marketing & Communications Manager position is to improve and help Stellantis South Africa dealerships with their product and dealership marketing, ensuring that all contact points with customers are class leading and professional, representative of our brands, and that clear integration exists between brand marketing and dealer marketing.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A degree or diploma in Marketing or Advertising Previous experience in a similar role (2-3 years) in the Automotive industry, preferably with exposure to the following areas: o Market knowledge and understanding Project management experience o Strong financial acumen o Dealership marketing experience Computer literacy with Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, WordSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Marketing/Sales SkillsUnderstand marketing, advertising, promotion and salesKnowledge of sales principles Understand market research Understand market segmentationUnderstand retail marketing Salesmanship - ability to organize and present material in a convincing manner Able to develop marketing plans; set objectives Awareness of marketing trendsCommunication Skills Knowledge of communication and demonstration techniquesAble to communicate with ease on a professional level. Able to make a persuasive, clear presentation of ideas or facts, given time for preparation. Decision-making skills KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist and monitor dealers to entrench the relevant Stellantis brand Communication Corporate Identity guidelines and relevant brand values. Develop a matrix of minimum showroom identity requirements that all dealers will be required so as to uphold the relevant brand Corporate Identity and to ensure a consistent customer showroom experience. Identify and develop campaign required visual requirements for all Stellantis Dealerships.Effectively coordinate and develop TTL dealer marketing support material (launch and tactical) and dealer use of support structures such as the Dealer Marketing web site.Manage and ensure that all dealers implement and use the Stellantis dealer web site templates.Dealer websites should be updated with all relevant product information and should feature the quarterly pre-approved incentives. In order to ensure maximum brand and dealer integration, all brand sponsorships and activations should be integrated and supported at a dealership level. This may involve dealer supporting local activities or representation at the activations. Liaise with all relevant external suppliers such as advertising agencies so as to ensure that all work is done timorously and in keeping with the relevant brands. Determine the annual budget for this position as well as the continuous monitoring and control of the budget ensuring that budgets are met and that the budget is spent according to the key objectives of this job. Pay regular visits to the dealer network, in order to ensure that the minimum requirements are being adhered to. Manage the brochure stock levels in the Warehouse and the ordering process involved for all POS material. Order all POS material (Brochures, Flyers, number plates, posters, Flags, etc.) required for stock.Recommend and manage the visual image of the dealership salesman (e.g. name tags, dress code etc.). Manage the integration of the brand sponsorships with the dealer network.Manage the DAA fund ensuring income, expenditure and budget are accurate and that relevant media campaigns are planned supporting the dealer retail objectives and incentives."At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
